In the spirit of the holidays, KENZO has launched its own video game, titled The KENZO Run, challenging fashion-minded gamers to compete for the highest score and a number of tiered prizes.
The game tasks players with skillfully guiding a playful character through KENZO City. The goal is to collect as many Boke Flowers (or tokens inspired by Maison’s signature designs) while avoiding game-ending obstacles and discovering clever shortcuts. As players progress, the game will become increasingly more difficult, but those who “stay alive” the longest and place in the winning top 36 will receive special holiday prizes from the French fashion house.
The top prize will be a package to attend the KENZO Fall/Winter 2023 fashion show in Paris, which is scheduled to take place in January 2023. As part of the bundle, the winning player will receive an official invitation to the show, along with flights and a hotel booking. Meanwhile, the remaining top players will win undisclosed KENZO products.
The KENZO RunĀ game will be available to play from December 14 to December 30 on KENZO’s website. Take a first look at the brand’s game design in the gallery above.
Elsewhere in fashion, Midnight Art Dept. has tapped the 1987 film, The Lost Boys, for a sharp-toothed collaboration.
