Here’s a look at the exhibitors at the AD Design Show 2022 (Part 2) – Condé Nast Traveller India

Check out the brands in store for you at India’s finest art and design event 
The AD Design Show 2022 is all set to take place on December 16, 17, 18, in Mumbai. Powered by Asian Paints, it will feature top exhibitors of India showcasing products in the lighting, furniture and decor objects categories. With an exciting lineup of events, the show promises to be the finest one in art and design. Here’s a list of brands to watch out for at the AD Design Show 2022.  
Beautiful Homes is a collection of home furnishings, furniture and lighting, brought to you by Asian Paints. From carpets to sofas, table lamps and four-poster beds, the brand has a wide range of products in varying styles. Amit Syngle is the MD and CEO of the 4 Billion USD Asian Paints. At the AD Design Show, the brand will display The Way We Live, designed by Srila Chatterjee​ and Fali Unwala.
A brand was born at Maison et Objet in Paris, in 2019, IKKIS translates to ’21’ in Hindi, and launched with a series of 21 objects designed for 21st century living. Gunjan Gupta, India’s leading product designer, is the founder and creative director of IKKIS. It features a range of limited and unlimited objects, each embedded in indigenous craft and materiality evoking a memory or ritual iconic to India. IKKIS will present its collection of dining, gifting and decor solutions at the show. 
A metalware manufacturing studio by Oliver McInroy & Co, Quattrefoil is a brand specialising in lighting, furniture and accessories. It has been supplying its products to some of the world’s most prestigious retailers like Neiman Marcus, Crate and Barrel, and more, now bring them to Indian homes. Quattrefoil is the combined efforts of Ajay and Ashu Joneja. It will showcase lighting accessories that have an artistic flair and understated accents with an industrial and urban design sensibility. 
A furniture brand with a legacy of over 45 years, PINAKIN STUDIO has championed the aesthetic of India Modern. Its flagship store in Alibaug is spread across 5,000 square foot, offering visitors a large selection of furniture pieces to choose from. Pinakin, one of India’s most celebrated multi disciplinary designers, is the founder of his eponymous studio. The brand will showcase its new collection at the design show. 
India Circus by Krsnaa Mehta is a Godrej Venture that offers affordable home decor and personal accessories in contemporary-chic and sophisticated styles. The brand has a diverse and distinct palette in a bid to represent India through its tones and designs. Mehta’s design philosophy is to take Indian contemporary design to the world. At the fair, India Circus will showcase its range of wallpapers.
Gulmohar Lane offers a wide range of contemporary furniture, lighting and accessories. It creates classic designs that are not only visually beautiful but offer comfort for everyday use. Along with its e-commerce website, Gulmohar Lane’s products are available at its factory showroom in Jaipur. The brand is co-founded by Saurabh Ailawadi and Shweta Mewara. Gulmohar Lane will showcase their latest collections at the AD Design Show 2022.
Jaipur Rugs offers contemporary, transitional, and eclectic carpets handmade in rural India. The company has the largest network of artisans in India, employing 40,000 of them, of which 85 percent are women. It was founded in 1978 by Nand Kishore Chaudhary with just two looms, but now has over 7000 looms and sells in over 65 countries. Jaipur Rugs will showcase its ‘Manchaha’ Collection that includes original rugs designed by rural weavers spontaneously on the loom using leftover yarn from the industry.
Nesterra offers premium home furnishings to help one create their own soothing space reflecting their personal style. An amalgamation of the nest (home) and terra (earth), Nesterra marries the natural beauty of the earth with the classic comforts of a home, creating products that are steeped in luxury. Each fabric, texture, and colour seamlessly come together to tell a story. The brand will showcase two of its newly launching collections at the show, namely, Heritage and Chair Affair.
Born from a vision to blur the boundaries between art and design, Atelier Ashiesh Shah  is a collaborative extension of Shah’s architectural studio. Empowering the ‘karigar,’ the Atelier aims to work alongside master craftsmen from all over the country to create design objects honouring artisanship layered with a contemporary flair. It will showcase a curation inspired by the duality of Lord Shiva whose archetype, the ‘lingam’ is its foundational form translated into its timeless design objects.
Rezon Silverware is a luxury home decor brand that offers a collection of minimal, timeless and unique pieces that are adorned with metal and semi-precious stones. It has a vast range of items for home decor and utility. Founder Kalyani Chawla launched Rezon Silverware in 2017, with a vision of entering a competitive market to fill the gap in the luxury segment. At the fair, the brand will showcase its latest collection of products and accessories. 
A bespoke atelier for international brands, Emery Studio was founded in 2011 by Mandeep Singh. It houses some of the most coveted international brands in the bespoke lighting, tableware and home decor space. Since the last decade, Emery Studio has been closely working with India’s most renowned architects and interior designers on marquee residential projects. At the show, Emery Studio will display bespoke collections from Saint-Louis and Daum brands. 
An award-winning label from Goa, Josmo offers home decor and interior styling solutions. The brand was created in late 2010 by Anjali Mody who is also the creative director of Josmo. Mody creates products and spatial solutions that are inherently Indian, but with a strong global appeal. At the show, Josmo will display a few pieces from their latest ‘Ceylon Collection’, offering viewers a small preview of what lies in store in the upcoming year.
Saijal Goenka – Furniture Artefacts Accents was conceptualised and founded in 2005. The main design philosophy of Goenka’s brand is that every piece is delicately handcrafted, making it unique with its variations and slight imperfections. Flowers are the brand’s iconic motif which has been modified over the years to integrate the sophisticated designs with modern interiors. Saijal Goenka will showcase a 14-piece collection called the ’Naked Wood Series’ at the event.
Launched in 2011, Aux Home is a brand that provides furniture, wardrobe, kitchen and lighting solutions. It has an experience centre in New Delhi where one can see an array of products and setups in an intimate setting. It is an official representative of multiple global brands like Molteni & C, GlasItalia, Alex Turco, Flos, and Luceplan, to name a few. Chitvi and Harpreet Singh are the founders of Aux Home. The brand will display iconic products from two renowned lighting brands, Flos and Luceplan at the show. 
Lladró is a Spanish porcelain brand that has deployed its unparalleled know-how in the field of porcelain in its only factory in the world, in Valencia. It offers sculptures, lighting and objects for the home and interior design as well as fashion accessories. It was started by three brothers in Spain as a means to earn some extra income and today is a world renowned porcelain brand. Each piece is delicately made by sculptors and artisans in an entirely handcrafted process. Lladró will showcase its most contemporary and ground-breaking designs in porcelain, lighting collections and relevant traditional creations.
Helmed by the mother-daughter duo Sunita and Kohelika Kohli, K2India is an award-winning architectural firm. It is located in New Delhi and is driven by the pursuit of excellence and quality. Kohelika Kohli is the CEO and creative director of K2India while Sunita Kohli is the president of the firm. The brand’s approach is rooted in a firm belief that with an integrated and unified approach, design is fundamental to improving the quality of life. The firm will showcase their ‘Mumbai Rhapsody’ furniture collection at the show. 
SIMONE is one of India’s finest luxury home decor stores that showcases a globally sourced collection of furniture, decorative accessories, tableware, lighting solutions, wall art, carpets, fine fabrics, bed and bath linen, and more. Simone Arora is the founder, designer and curator of her eponymous brand that is inspired by the beauty and textures of nature. At the fair, SIMONE will showcase its selection of exquisite furniture, artefacts, tableware and soft furnishings.
Founded in Milano in 1935 by Giulio Marangoni, Istituto Marangoni is internationally recognised as one of the leading players offering higher education in the fields of fashion, design and art. For more than eight decades, it has witnessed the flourishing of Italian fashion and the birth of the ready-to -wear segment, accompanying their development and training the young talents who would later forge their success. At the show, Istituto Marangoni will showcase the winning design collection of their lockdown project in association with Cocoon Fine Rugs. They will also display a furniture collection created by Marc Sweeney of Scotland who carved pieces using a fallen lime tree.
One of the leading manufacturers of architectural lighting in India, Hybec is known for its innovation and technology. It was founded by three brothers, namely, Jitendra Manshani, Mukesh Manshani and Haresh Manshani. Today, it is a prominent contributor in the intelligent lighting space, and over the last decade, has created a vast network of over 200 dealer-distributors. At the design show, Hybec will showcase its Pro Series. Designing for the present while thinking about the future is the motto of Hybec.
A luxury design and lifestyle studio, Uma Design specialises in creating high-end silver and silver-plated heirlooms. was founded by Khyathi and Manish Jethwani. The duo has been influenced by India’s rich design heritage and love for ornate metal pieces. Uma Design’s philosophy is to honour tradition while also experimenting with form and function. The brand will display an eclectic range of products including their featured collections of serveware, tableware, home decor pieces and an intricately designed gift range in silver. 
A design studio as well as a tableware brand, Soka Design Studio showcases heritage with a contemporary blend. It provides bespoke, design-driven solutions for one’s residential and commercial projects. Apart from this, the studio also has SDS Tableware that offers different collections, each with a specific theme. Sravanya is the creative director of Soka Design Studio. The brand will showcase its tableware collections, namely, ‘A Victorian Romance’, ‘Andam’ and ‘Identity’.

The Group, under the aegis of the JSW Foundation, is committed to restoring and rebuilding the diverse cultural heritage of India. At AD Design Show, the Karigar Pavilion is powered by JSW where craftsmen from different parts of the country will showcase live craft forms. The Chairperson of the JSW Foundation, Sangita Jindal is one of the jury members of  the AD x JSW Prize for Contemporary Craftsmanship 2022, the winner of which will be announced at the event. 
Shalini Passi is an art and design collector, patron, philanthropist, advisor and artist, who serves as a longstanding patron of the Kochi Muziris Biennale. Her passion for art and design is evident in her vast collection of furniture, tapestries, and rare antiques, which are juxtaposed with cutting-edge contemporary design. Passi will showcase ‘Forever Delhi’ – A Series of Black and White Photographs shot in 2020 capturing Delhi and its architecture under a fresh lens.
Sār represents contemporary, contextual, functional design through the perspective of designers from around the world. Nikita Bhate, a product and interior designer is the founder of the studio. Sār takes cultural references that make design relevant to how we live today, creating objects of essence that are made to last beyond trends. Its interior collection is a production of sustainable products which people can truly love and grow with.
