In the twentieth century, the United Kingdom was involved in both World War I and World War II. It played a key role in the defeat of Nazi Germany. After the war, the UK underwent significant social and cultural change, such as the establishment of the National Health Service, and the rise of youth and pop culture.
In modern times, the United Kingdom faces various challenges, such as Brexit and the increasing demands for decentralization and independence from Scotland and Northern Ireland. Nevertheless, the country remains a prominent world power, with a rich cultural and historical legacy.
